The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance examination for securing admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs at top National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. The exam is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. In addition to these NLUs, many other universities and institutes accept CLAT scores for admissions and recruitment purposes. For admission into 5-year integrated LL.B. and LL.M. programs, CLAT serves as the primary gateway.
