About the Course

The LLB (Bachelor of Legislative Law) is an undergraduate program which focuses on legal education. It typically spans 3 to 5 years, depending on whether you want to pursue it as a standalone course or integrated with other courses such as BA LLB, BBA LLB or B.Com LLB. The curriculum includes both theoretical as well as practical experience through internships, moot courts, legal aid camps. The course covers a wide range of legal subjects such as constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, family law, property law, administrative law, intellectual property law. The course helps in developing essential skills like critical analysis and logical reasoning, legal research and drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills, problem solving and ethical decision making.

There are many career options after LLB course including:

Lawyer - A prevalent career option, you can practice law in law firms, government agencies, or by starting your own practice.

Corporate Counsellor - This profile includes managing the company's legal procedures, and provides guidance on management,marketing, and business development.

Legal Journalist - It covers legal proceedings in courts (arbitration, and international)

Criminal Defense Lawyer - The graduates can work for leading law companies or as a public prosecutor or public defender for the Government of India.
